Atmospheric Gases

The air we breathe is made up of a variety of gases, each with its own set of characteristics that are useful in a variety of industrial processes and medical treatments

The mixture contains a group of gases of nearly constant concentrations and a group with concentrations that are variable in both space and time

Flammable Gases

Flammable gases are explosive when they are mixed with air or oxygen in the right proportions and provided with a source of ignition.

Toxic Gases

A gas is classified as toxic when a median lethal concentration in air of more than 200 ppm but not more than 2,000 ppm by volume of gas or vapor, when administered by continuous inhalation for 1 hour or less can lead to death of albino rats.

Solvents

Interestingly , solvents can be gaseous , liquid, solid or supercritical fluid The best known solvent known to mankind is water.

Refrigerants

Air conditioners, refrigerators & heat pumps, all have the working fluid named, refrigerant. The continuous phase transition of refrigerant from liquid to gas and back again is responsible for heat removal.

Rare Gases

Rare Gases are the most inert and unreactive elements known to man. They are found in very low concentrations in the environment (0.001818% neon, 0.000114% krypton and 0.0000087% xenon) and are manufactured by Air Separation Units (ASU).

Fluoropolymers

Fluoropolymers are fluorocarbon-based, high performance plastic resin with multiple carbon-fluorine bonds
